Compact LiFePO4 Power

The BatteryJack Banshee is a 12.8 V 7 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery built for buyers who need lightweight, long-life energy storage. It replaces heavy sealed lead-acid units in portable gear such as fish finders, robotics, solar lighting, e-scooters and home alarm systems.

Upgrade From Lead Acid

The jump is worth it when cycle life and weight matter more than upfront cost. The Banshee delivers 3000-plus cycles at 1 C 100 % depth of discharge, roughly five times the lifespan of a comparable SLA pack, while weighing only 60 % as much at 2.09 lbs.

Capacity And Limits

Rated at 89.6 Wh the cell comfortably runs low-draw electronics for extended trips and handles peak loads in parallel or series strings of up to four units. It runs out when an application demands more than 7 Ah per block or requires terminals other than the F2 format.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions and terminal type of this 12.8V 7Ah battery?

The case measures 151 mm long, 65 mm wide and 100 mm high, and it uses F2 terminals.

How do I connect the battery and what is the most common wiring mistake?

Connect the red lead to the positive F2 terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal; the frequent error is reversing the polarity which can damage the internal BMS.

When will this LiFePO4 pack need replacement and what indicates end of life?

After roughly 3000 full charge-discharge cycles at 1C the capacity will have faded noticeably; plan replacement when run-time drops below your application's needs.
