12 V 9 Ah sealed lead-acid battery

The BatteryJack 12 V 9 Ah unit uses AGM construction to deliver maintenance-free standby power for UPS units, alarm panels and emergency lighting. Its sealed, non-spillable design allows mounting in any orientation and meets IATA air-transport requirements.

9 Ah capacity for standby loads

Nine ampere-hours supports typical backup loads for the rated 4–7 year float life; gas recombination above 90 % keeps electrolyte loss minimal. Runtime shortens under high-current discharge, so the cell is sized for moderate, intermittent draw rather than continuous heavy load.

Drop-in replacement for standard cases

The battery fits existing 12 V 9 Ah compartments without wiring changes and requires no watering or specific-gravity checks. It frees the installer from periodic maintenance while the sealed case prevents electrolyte leakage in any mounting position.

Questions about this item

Will this 12 V 9 AH battery fit the same compartment as my old 12 V 7 AH unit?

It shares the same 12 V nominal voltage and standard sealed lead-acid footprint, so it will slot into the existing tray; verify the physical length and width match your current battery before ordering.

How can I confirm the battery is holding charge after I install it?

Charge it fully with a compatible AGM charger, let it rest for an hour, then measure the open-circuit voltage — a healthy unit will show a stable reading at the rated 12 V level.

Does the box include mounting hardware or cables?

The battery ships as a standalone unit with terminal bolts only; any harnesses, brackets or chargers must be sourced separately.
