Drop-Tested Battery Pack for ICOM Radios

This 7.5 V 1500 mAh NiMH pack replaces the BP264 and BP265 cells used in several ICOM two-way radios. The supplier states it survives six drops from six feet onto every side without breaking or losing power. An 18 month replacement warranty backs the cells.

Ideal for Field Crews Needing Rugged Replacements

Teams that operate ICOM models such as the IC-F4001, IC-F4002, IC-F4003, IC-T70A, IC-T70E, IC-V80 or IC-V80E will find a direct-fit spare. Users who require a different voltage, chemistry or connector should look at other packs.

Verify Model Compatibility Before Ordering

Check the radio’s label for the exact model number and confirm it appears in the supported list. Ensure the existing battery is a BP264 or BP265 type so the connector and voltage match.

Questions about this item

Which ICOM radio models accept the BP264/BP265 battery pack?

The pack fits IC-F3001, IC-F4001, IC-F3002, IC-F4002, IC-F3003, IC-F4003, IC-F3101D, IC-F4101D, IC-T70A, IC-T70E, IC-V80 and IC-V80E radios.

Will this NiMH pack charge in the same desktop charger I use for my older BP264 battery?

Yes, the 7.5 V 1500 mAh NiMH chemistry matches the original BP264/BP265 specification, so existing ICOM chargers for those packs will charge it normally.

How can I verify the battery is delivering its rated 1500 mAh capacity after the first few charge cycles?

Run the radio on a full charge at normal transmit power until it shuts down; a healthy pack should provide roughly the same operating time as a fresh original BP264 under identical usage.
