Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the NiMH cells in these BP264/BP265 packs?

The 1500 mAh NiMH packs are rated for an 18 month free-replacement period; after that you replace them when run-time drops below your needs.

What limits continuous transmit time on the IC-T70 or IC-FT70A with these 7.5 V packs?

The 1500 mAh capacity sets the talk-time ceiling; sustained high-power TX will drain the pack faster than receive or standby.

Do the batteries get hot or make noise during all-day use on an IC-V80?

NiMH chemistry runs silently; packs may warm during long transmit sessions but no fan or audible noise is produced.
