  • Sealed non-spillable construction allows any mounting position
  • Maintenance-free gas recombination exceeds 90 % efficiency

2-Pack 12V 7Ah UPS Replacement Set

This two-pack supplies direct 100% OEM replacements for the APC Back-UPS XS 1200. Each unit uses advanced AGM technology in a sealed, maintenance-free design. The batteries are classified as non-spillable and meet International Air Transport Association requirements for safe transport. They install in any position without electrolyte leakage risk.

Upgrade from worn or failed original cells

Replace the original batteries when runtime drops below usable levels or the UPS signals a replacement alert. The jump is worth it when the existing set can no longer hold a charge through typical outages. Expected service life reaches four to seven years under normal floating conditions. Gas recombination handles over 90% of generated gas during standard operation.

Sealed AGM limits for continuous float use

The absorptive glass mat system is optimised for standby float service rather than deep cycling. Position-free installation allows horizontal or vertical mounting inside the UPS chassis. No provision exists for checking electrolyte gravity or adding water during the service interval. The sealed construction prevents terminal or case leakage in any orientation.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 V 7 Ah packs fit inside my APC Back-UPS XS 1200 without modification?

Yes, they are built as 100 % OEM replacements for the APC Back-UPS XS 1200, so the case dimensions and terminal layout match the original batteries exactly.

What is the installation step that people most often miss when swapping these batteries?

Reconnect the battery connector inside the UPS after placing the new packs; the unit will not start on battery power until that plug is firmly seated.

How often should I expect to replace these AGM packs under normal float service?

The manufacturer rates the expected life at 4 to 7 years; plan on a fresh 2-pack swap once the runtime drops noticeably or the UPS signals a battery fault.
