Two-Pack Tank Radio Battery

This two-pack supplies drop-tested lithium-ion cells built to replace Kenwood KNB-35L and KNB-57L packs. It fits portable radios such as the TK-2140, TK-3140, NX-220 and NX-320 series. The cells are assembled from highest-grade components at an ISO 9002 certified plant with over 95 combined years of industry experience. Each pack meets or exceeds OEM quality-control testing.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 7.4 V 1800 mAh chemistry delivers steady voltage across a full shift rather than sagging after a short burst. Units survive six drops from six feet onto all sides without breaking or losing power output. An 18-month warranty backs the long-term reliability of the cells under daily professional use.

Deciding Specification

Voltage and capacity are fixed at 7.4 V and 1800 mAh, so the pack only suits radios designed for that exact rating. Buyers whose equipment requires a different voltage or a higher milliampere-hour figure cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.4 V 1800 mAh pack run hot after a full day of transmit cycles?

The lithium-ion chemistry and cell-grade selection keep internal resistance low, so heat buildup stays minimal even during extended transmit periods.

Which Kenwood portable radios accept these KNB-35L / KNB-57L replacements directly?

Compatible models include TK-2140, TK-3140, TK-2148, TK-3148, TK-2160, TK-3160, TK-2168, TK-3168, TK-2170, TK-3170, TK-2173, TK-3173, TK-2360, TK-3360, NX-220 and NX-320.

Will these batteries fit and charge in an older desktop charger made for the original KNB-24 packs?

Yes — they replace KNB-24, KNB-24L, KNB-35, KNB-35L, KNB-55L and KNB-57L, so existing Kenwood chargers for those part numbers work without modification.
