Replacement Li-Ion Battery

This 7.2V 2200mAh Li-Ion pack replaces the Motorola RLN6305 and RLN6305B batteries. It fits CP110, RDU2020, RDU2023 and RLN6305 two-way radios. The unit meets or exceeds original equipment specifications for voltage and capacity. It is supplied new and ready for immediate use.

Drop-Tested Durability

The housing survives six drops from six feet onto all six sides without breaking or splintering while continuing to power the radio. This rugged construction suits marine, automotive and industrial environments where equipment faces regular impact. The design frees operators from handling concerns during active shifts.

Sustained Capacity Delivery

The 2200mAh rating supports extended transmit and receive cycles across full work periods. Li-Ion chemistry maintains stable voltage output under continuous load rather than fading after short bursts. An 18 month replacement warranty backs the long-term reliability of the cell pack.

Questions about this item

How long will the 2200mAh capacity last during a full shift of continuous transmit and receive?

The 2200mAh Li-Ion cell delivers up to 2200 milliampere-hours at 7.2V; actual run-time depends on the radio's transmit power setting and duty cycle.

Does the battery get hot or draw extra power when the radio runs all day?

Li-Ion chemistry runs efficiently at 7.2V; the pack meets OEM thermal limits and has no active cooling, so heat stays within normal radio operating range.

Which Motorola radio models does this 7.2V pack fit without an adapter?

It directly replaces the RLN6305 and RLN6305B packs used in CP110, RDU2020, RDU2023 and other compatible Motorola two-way radios.
