Two-Pack 12 V Lithium-Ion Cells

This two-pack supplies 12 V lithium-ion power for RIDGID AC8 cordless tools. Each cell delivers 1500 mAh capacity and is built with quality components to match original equipment specifications. The set suits DIY users and tradespeople who want a spare or replacement pair.

Sustained Output on Extended Tasks

Under continuous drain the batteries maintain steady voltage rather than sagging after a brief burst. This behaviour helps tools keep torque through longer cuts or driving sessions without the sudden power drop seen in lower-grade packs.

Heat, Noise and Draw in Daily Use

Lithium-ion chemistry runs cool and silent during normal operation, so the packs add no audible fan noise and minimal heat to the tool body. Current draw stays consistent across the discharge curve, giving predictable run-time per charge.

Questions about this item

How warm do these 12V 1500mAh packs get during continuous daily use?

Lithium-ion cells run cool under normal loads; the Banshee design matches OEM thermal behaviour so the packs stay comfortable to handle even after hours on the job.

Will the 12V RIDGID AC8 charger I already own charge both packs?

Yes — they are built to the same 12-volt specification as the original AC8 battery, so your existing RIDGID charger works without any adapter.

Can I mix one of these new packs with an older RIDGID 12V battery on the same tool?

Each pack communicates independently with the tool; you can pair a fresh 1500mAh unit with an aged pack, though runtime will follow the weaker cell.
