Two-pack smart charger for 6V

This package supplies two microprocessor-controlled Banshee chargers rated at 4 amps for 6-volt and 12-volt systems. They suit AGM, gel, VRLA, SLA, wet-cell and 12-volt LiFePO4 batteries found in motorcycles, cars, ATVs, RVs, boats, scooters, golf carts, lawn mowers and ride-on toys. The IP65-sealed case resists dust, oil and moisture for garage or outdoor use.

Alligator clips and ring terminals included

Each unit ships with both alligator clips and ring terminals so you can choose a quick temporary hook-up or a semi-permanent lead attached to the battery. The charger automatically selects maintenance, recondition, 12-volt supply and winter modes, keeping the battery topped up without overcharging during long storage periods.

Verify battery chemistry

Confirm the battery is a 6-volt or 12-volt lead-acid type (AGM, gel, VRLA, SLA, wet) or a 12-volt LiFePO4 pack; other lithium chemistries are not supported. Ensure the charger’s 4-amp output suits the battery’s capacity and that the IP65 rating meets the installation environment’s exposure level.

Questions about this item

Does the IP65 case mean the charger itself needs no maintenance?

The fully sealed case is dust-resistant, oil-resistant and anti-moisture, preventing corrosion and protecting the internal electronics from the elements.

What stops the 4 A output from running continuously when the battery is full?

A microprocessor-controlled program switches to maintenance mode once the battery reaches full charge, eliminating the risk of overcharging during sustained use.

Is the fan noise noticeable when the charger runs all day in a garage?

The charger uses a fully sealed outer case with no moving parts mentioned, so it operates silently while delivering up to 4 A in maintenance, recondition, supply or winter modes.
