What the product is

The Banshee 3.6v NiCD battery is a replacement power cell for otoscope handles used in ear examinations. It is built for healthcare professionals and facilities that need a dependable medical-grade battery with a proven track record.

What the chemistry and dimensions change

Nickel Cadmium chemistry provides stable voltage output and reliable cycling for frequent clinical use. The compact 2.78 inch by 1 inch form factor (70.6mm x 25.4mm) ensures a direct fit inside compatible otoscope handles without modification.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This unit suits clinicians and technicians who service otoscopes accepting the 13969 reference and require a 3.6 volt NiCD cell. Buyers needing a different voltage, chemistry, or physical size for other diagnostic instruments should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

When will the 3.6 V NiCD battery need replacement?

The cell is built for long service in otoscope handles; plan on swapping it after roughly two years of regular clinical use.

What limits continuous operation of the 3.6 V NiCD cell?

Voltage sag under sustained draw is the first limit; the nickel-cadmium chemistry holds a steady 3.6 V until the pack is nearly depleted.

Does the 3.6 V NiCD battery get hot or noisy during all-day use?

No moving parts mean silent running, and the compact 70.6 mm × 25.4 mm nickel-cadmium pack stays barely warm even during extended examinations.
