Direct replacement for RIDGID 12V tools

This Banshee battery replaces the RIDGID 12V Jobmax Hyper Lithium Ion pack. It supplies 12V and 1.5Ah capacity for compatible 12V tools. The unit is brand new and carries a two-year warranty.

Voltage and capacity match the original pack

The single specification that decides fit is the 12V 1500mAh rating. It works with the R86048 part number and fits Jobmax and other 12V tools. No other voltage or capacity is offered.

Steady output during extended use

High-quality cells maintain consistent voltage under sustained load rather than dropping off after a short burst. The two-year warranty reflects confidence in long-term cycle life.

Questions about this item

How long will the 1.5 Ah rating actually run my 12 V Jobmax drill?

The 1.5 Ah capacity delivers 1.5 amps for one hour or proportionally longer at lower draw; run-time depends on the tool load and battery age.

Does the 12 V lithium-ion chemistry limit which Ridgid chargers I can use?

It works with standard Ridgid 12 V chargers; the lithium-ion cells require the correct voltage profile, so use only chargers labelled for 12 V Li-ion packs.

Will this pack click into my R86048 Jobmax multi-tool without modification?

Yes, the pack is built to the same slide-on form factor as the original R86048 battery, so it locks directly into Jobmax and other Ridgid 12 V tools.
