Rigid AC82048 12V replacement pack

This two-pack supplies 12 volt 1500 milliampere-hour lithium-ion cells built to fit Rigid power tools using the AC82048 form factor. The set targets tradespeople and DIY owners who need a direct drop-in replacement without modifying their existing charger or tool.

Thermal and power behaviour

Lithium-ion chemistry keeps self-discharge low and delivers consistent voltage through the discharge cycle. Normal operation stays cool and quiet, with no memory effect to degrade capacity over repeated charges.

Upgrade context and limits

The pack replaces worn or failed original Rigid 12V batteries and adds a two-year warranty against defects. It will not suit tools that require higher amp-hour ratings or a different voltage platform.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Banshee Rigid AC82048 12V battery into my power tool?

Align the battery pack with the tool's battery bay and slide it in until the latch clicks securely into place. Ensure the contacts are clean for a solid connection.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1500mAh lithium-ion cells need later?

Store packs at partial charge in a cool, dry place when not used for long periods. Replace the pack when runtime drops significantly or it no longer holds a charge.

What limit appears first during sustained high-drain use of the 12V pack?

The 1500mAh capacity determines total runtime under load. Continuous heavy draws will deplete the charge faster and generate heat, triggering the internal protection circuit to shut down the pack.
