Bendix King AA clamshell battery

The BatteryJack black clamshell powers Bendix King two-way radios with nine alkaline AA cells. It is built for marine and field use where reliable voice communication is essential. The case survives six drops from six feet on every face without cracking or losing power. An 18 month warranty backs the high-grade cells inside.

Suits operators of LAA105 LAA125 LPH LPX

This pack fits the listed Bendix King handhelds and replaces the BX-LAA-0139 clamshell directly. It is not for radios that require a proprietary rechargeable pack or a different cell count. Buyers needing USB charging or lithium-ion chemistry should look at a different power source.

Takes nine alkaline AA cells

The clamshell accepts exactly nine standard AA alkaline batteries to deliver operating voltage for the compatible models. No other cell size or chemistry is supported by this housing.

Questions about this item

How do I install the AA cells into the clamshell for my LAA105 radio?

Open the black clamshell case, insert nine alkaline AA cells following the polarity markings inside, then snap the case shut until it clicks securely onto the radio.

When will I need to replace the alkaline cells inside the clamshell?

Replace all nine AA alkaline cells when transmit time noticeably shortens or the radio fails to power on; the cells are user-replaceable and the clamshell itself is rated for 18 months.

What is the first limit I will hit if I use the clamshell continuously on my LPX radio?

The nine alkaline AA cells will deplete first, ending transmit capability until fresh cells are installed; the clamshell housing is tested to survive repeated 6-foot drops.
