Compatible Two-Way Radio Battery

This 7.4 V 2000 mAh lithium-ion cell replaces the original HYT BL2006 pack for PD702 and PD782 series portables. It fits a wide range of HYT and Hytera models including PD705, PD706, PD708, PD785, PD786 and PD788 as well as Harris HDP100 and HDP15 units. The battery is built with high-grade cells and meets or exceeds the original equipment specifications.

Professional and Outdoor Radio Users

Teams that rely on compatible HYT or Hytera portables for daily operations can use this pack as a direct replacement. It is not suited for radios outside the listed model families or for users who need a different voltage or chemistry. Buyers with non-compatible handsets should look for a battery matched to their specific device.

7.4 V 2000 mAh Lithium-Ion Chemistry

The pack delivers 7.4 volts and 2000 milliampere-hours using lithium-ion cells. This voltage and capacity determine whether the battery will power your radio correctly. Verify that your handset requires exactly this specification before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will this 7.4 V 2000 mAh pack power my Hytera PD782 without a separate charger?

The battery fits PD782 and PD782G radios directly; you still need the radio's standard desktop or vehicle charger to replenish the 2000 mAh cells.

Can I keep using my older PD702 charger with this BL2006 replacement?

Yes, the pack matches the original BL2001 form factor so existing PD702, PD705 and PD706 chargers will charge it normally.

How do I confirm the 7.4 V output is healthy after the first charge cycle?

Insert the pack, power on the radio and verify the battery indicator shows full bars; a steady transmit tone on high power also confirms proper voltage delivery.
