Industrial backup battery

The BatteryJack BR-AGCF2W is a 6 V 1200 mAh replacement cell built for CNC machine tools, PLCs, programmers and similar industrial equipment that rely on a real-time clock or backup memory. It fits the Cutler Hammer A98L-0031-0011#L footprint and matches part numbers such as A06B-0177-D106 and BR-ACF2P.

Sustained reliability

Rated for a working temperature span of -55 to +85 °C, the pack maintains its voltage through long idle periods and repeated charge cycles without the rapid self-discharge seen in consumer cells. High-density chemistry and low internal resistance keep backup power stable during extended mains outages.

Voltage and capacity envelope

The single 6 V cell delivers 1200 mAh, so total energy is fixed at 7.2 Wh and cannot be expanded by paralleling additional packs. Designs that require higher voltage rails or longer hold-up times must step up the voltage externally or specify a different battery architecture.

Questions about this item

How much heat can the 6 V 1200 mAh cell handle during continuous use?

The pack is rated for a working temperature range of -55 to +85 °C, so it tolerates high ambient heat in industrial cabinets without derating.

Which existing part number must the machine already use for this replacement to fit?

It directly replaces Cutler Hammer A98L-0031-0011#L and matches Fanuc A06B-0177-D106, A98L-0031-0011 and BR-ACF2P references.

Will the 17.5 mm diameter by 33.5 mm height cell sit in the same holder as my original A98L-0031-0011?

Yes, the BR-AGCF2W shares those exact dimensions and a 13.5 g weight, so it drops into the existing battery compartment without modification.
