Product identity and target use

The BatteryJack inc. ER6Vbrnplug4 is a 3.6V AA lithium industrial cell rated at 2000mAh with a two-pin brown connector. It is intended for equipment such as OMRON meters, PLC backup supplies and CNC automation systems that require this specific voltage and form factor.

Sustained-load behaviour

The cell delivers a steady 3.6V output over its rated 2000mAh capacity, supporting continuous low-current draw in data-retention and metering roles without the voltage sag seen in short-pulse applications. It is not suited for high-drain devices that demand large burst currents beyond the chemistry's design limits.

Thermals noise and power draw

Lithium-thionyl chemistry runs cool and silent during normal metering and backup duty, producing no audible noise and negligible self-heating. The low self-discharge rate preserves stored energy across long service intervals, reducing the frequency of replacement cycles.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 3.6 V 2000 mAh cell generate during continuous meter operation?

The lithium chemistry runs cool in low-drain meter and PLC backup roles; no active cooling is required.

What meter or PLC connector must I already have to use the 2-pin brown plug?

The pack fits OMRON, Toshiba ER6V, DV0P2060, DV0P2990 and Yaskawa CNC sockets that accept a 2-pin brown connector.

Will this ER6Vbrnplug4 replace the original ER6V in my older Toshiba PLC without wiring changes?

Yes, it matches the 3.6 V ER6V form factor and 2-pin brown plug used on legacy Toshiba and Yaskawa units.
