Compatible radio models

The BatteryJack FNB-V104Li replaces original batteries for Yaesu Vertex Standard VX-230 and VX-231 series radios including VX-231L variants. It supplies 7.4V and 2200mAh capacity using lithium-ion chemistry for handheld two-way communication devices.

Installation and common issues

The pack fits directly into the radio battery compartment without tools or soldering. Users should ensure the contacts align correctly and charge fully before first use; the most frequent problem is reduced runtime if the battery is stored discharged for long periods.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This unit suits operators who need a direct replacement for the listed Yaesu models and want an 18 month warranty backed by 95 years of combined industry experience. Buyers requiring a different voltage, connector layout or compatibility with other radio families should look elsewhere.
