Replacement 12 V 5.1 Ah battery

This 12 volt, 5.1 amp hour battery replaces the HC1217W and delivers 21 watts of capacity. It is built with advanced AGM technology and arrives fully sealed and maintenance free. The unit serves as a 100 percent OEM replacement for compatible UPS and backup devices. It is intended for users who need a direct drop-in cell for listed APC, Belkin, CyberPower and CSB models.

Recessed terminals and compact footprint

The battery measures 5.51 inches long, 1.89 inches wide and 4.0 inches high with recessed terminals that fit the original mounting brackets. Its sealed AGM construction means no fluid checks or top-ups are required during its service life. The form factor matches the HC1221W footprint so installation proceeds without modification to the host chassis. Buyers who need front-access terminals or a larger capacity cell will need a different model.

4 to 7 year expected service life

The manufacturer rates the expected battery life at four to seven years depending on application and temperature conditions. A three year warranty covers UPS and backup use while other devices carry a two year warranty. This life rating is the key figure for deciding whether the cell matches your replacement schedule. Users who require a longer rated lifespan should consider alternative chemistries.
