The BatteryJack HC1221W is a sealed lead-acid battery rated at 12 volts and 5 ampere-hours. It uses absorptive glass mat construction so the electrolyte is immobilised and the unit can operate in any orientation. The case is classified as non-spillable and meets International Air Transport Association requirements for safe transport. It is a direct replacement for compatible backup and power-tool applications.

FP Terminals and Sealed Build

Faston-style FP terminals provide a push-on connection that is quick to fit and remove without tools. The sealed AGM design prevents electrolyte leakage from the terminals or case during normal handling. Gas recombination exceeds 90 percent, so the battery does not require water top-ups or specific-gravity checks throughout its service life. Maintenance-free operation suits installations where regular access is impractical.

Expected Life and Warranty

Design life is quoted at four to seven years in floating standby service. A three-year warranty covers use in UPS and backup devices, while other applications carry a two-year warranty. The sealed construction and recombination system keep internal pressure stable, supporting consistent performance across the rated temperature range.
