Compatible DTMF Microphone

The Titan HM-133V HM-133s DTMF microphone is designed for Icom mobile transceivers including the IC-2300, IC-2200H and IC-V8000 models. It suits vehicle installations where a hand-held microphone with keypad entry is required.

Build and Connections

The microphone housing is tested to survive six drops from six feet onto all sides without damage or loss of function. A strong, flexible cable and streamlined shape make daily in-vehicle handling comfortable and durable.

Upgrade Path

This unit replaces a lost or worn original HM-133V microphone on supported radios such as the IC-207H, IC-208H, IC-2720H and ID-880H. It is not for operators needing a desktop base-station microphone or a model without DTMF keypad capability.

Questions about this item

What connector does the HM-133V microphone use to interface with the radio?

The HM-133V uses an 8-pin modular connector that plugs directly into the front panel of compatible Icom mobile transceivers.

What mounting hardware is included for installing the microphone in a vehicle?

A mounting bracket with adhesive backing and screws is supplied so the microphone hanger can be fixed to a dash or console.

How do you correctly seat the connector during installation to avoid intermittent audio?

Push the 8-pin plug straight in until the locking tab clicks; angling the plug bends pins and causes poor contact.
