Single-ear headset for voice-directed work

The BatteryJack inc. IDHS-VOCSC-01 is a single-ear headset built for voice-directed workflows in warehouses and distribution centres. It connects to Vocollect T2, T2X and T5 terminals via a screw-on HRS connector that stays secure during active use. The reversible design lets workers wear the padded cup on either ear for all-day comfort.

One headset per pack with replaceable cable

Each pack contains one complete headset rated for normal-noise industrial environments. If the cable is damaged, only the cable needs replacing — no return of the whole unit is required. The bidirectional noise-cancelling boom microphone is adjustable, flexible and waterproof for reliable speech recognition.

Lightweight build with secure device connection

Weighing six ounces, the headset rests on one ear and adjusts vertically and horizontally for a snug fit. The screw connector locks firmly to the terminal, while the HRS interface allows quick cable swaps in the field. It is made for workers who need hands-free voice input without a dual-ear headset.

Questions about this item

Will the HRS connector on this IDHS-VOCSC-01 headset mate with the port on my Vocollect T2X?

The headset uses a screw-type HRS connector that secures to the T2, T2X and T5 terminals, so it will attach directly to your T2X.

How can I confirm the noise-cancelling boom microphone is functioning after I connect the headset?

Speak into the adjustable boom; the bi-directional, waterproof mic should transmit clear voice commands to the Vocollect device without background interference.

Does the 1-pack include a spare cable or must I order a replacement HRS cable separately?

The package contains one complete SR20 headset with attached cable; a spare HRS cable is not included and must be purchased separately if needed.
