Questions about this item

How long will the 1600 mAh capacity last during continuous transmission?

The pack is guaranteed to keep at least 80 % of its 1600 mAh rating for 18 months from shipment; actual run-time depends on the radio's transmit duty cycle.

Does the Li-ion cell run hot or make noise during all-day use?

The battery has no moving parts and produces no audible noise; heat rise is determined by the radio's current draw, not by the pack itself.

Which Kenwood radio models accept the KNB-65L form factor?

Compatible models include TK-2000, TK-3000, TK-3501, TK-U100, TH-K20A and the full list of alternative OEM part numbers such as KNB-63, KNB-65 and KNB-65Li.
