Drop-tested construction and ISO plant

The pack survives six drops from six feet onto all sides without breakage or power loss, showing the mechanical strength expected in marine and field use. Cells are selected from the highest grade and assembled in an ISO 9002 certified facility with over 95 years of combined industry experience. The rugged housing protects the internal connections during daily belt carry and rough handling.

1800 mAh capacity sets runtime

At 1800 mAh the battery delivers a specific energy reserve that determines how long a compatible Kenwood portable transmits and receives between charges. Users needing longer shifts must choose a higher-capacity pack, while those who prioritise light weight may prefer a smaller cell. The 18 month warranty period reflects the manufacturer's confidence in this capacity rating.
