BatteryJack inc. POWERSTAR 12V 9AH SLA Battery CA1270 T2

Replacement Power for UPS and Backup Units

This 12 V 9 AH sealed lead-acid battery uses AGM technology and T2 terminals to serve as a direct OEM replacement for uninterruptible power supplies and backup devices. The maintenance-free design prevents electrolyte leakage and allows operation in any orientation. It meets non-spillable classification for safe transport.

Upgrading from Lower-Capacity or Worn Cells

The jump is worth it when your existing 12 V pack no longer holds a full charge or when the original equipment specifies a 9 AH rating for longer runtime. A 24-month warranty covers UPS and backup applications, while other devices receive a two-year term. Gas recombination above 90 % reduces water loss over the expected 4-7 year service life.

Build Integration and Space Considerations

The case measures 5.94 in long, 2.56 in wide and 3.72 in high, weighing 13.16 lbs, so verify that your battery compartment accommodates these dimensions. T2 terminals require matching connectors or adapter cables for a secure fit. The sealed AGM construction frees you from periodic electrolyte checks and ventilation constraints.
