Replacement battery for GE Simon XT

This 6 V 1.2 Ah sealed AGM battery serves as a direct OEM replacement for the GE Simon XT security panel. It uses advanced absorbed glass mat technology to deliver maintenance-free operation with an expected service life of four to seven years. The unit arrives new and ready for installation in compatible alarm and backup systems.

Physical fit: 3.82 × 2.05 × 0.94 inches

The single specification that decides compatibility is the exact case size of 3.82 inches long, 2.05 inches high and 0.94 inches wide. These dimensions match the DMZ12, PS-612 and UB613 references so the battery slides into the existing enclosure without modification. Verify the panel's battery cavity against these figures before ordering.

Terminal layout and warranty coverage

The battery ships with standard F1 faston terminals that connect directly to the panel's wiring harness, requiring no adapters or soldering. A two-year warranty applies to security and general-purpose use, while a three-year warranty covers UPS and dedicated backup installations. Buyers who need a higher capacity pack or a different voltage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long will the 1.2Ah rating actually keep my alarm panel running?

The 1.2Ah capacity at 6V supplies the rated amp-hours; real-world runtime depends on the panel's current draw and the battery's age.

What does the AGM construction mean for installation orientation?

AGM technology is sealed and maintenance-free, so the battery can be mounted in any position without leakage risk.

Will the 2.05H x 3.82L x 0.94W case fit my existing battery compartment?

Those are the exact outside dimensions; compare them with your compartment's internal clearance before ordering.
