What this battery replaces

The PowerStar CP1290 is a 12V 9AH sealed lead-acid unit built with AGM technology for maintenance-free operation. It serves as a 100% OEM replacement for compatible UPS, backup and power-tool systems.

Check voltage terminals and dimensions

Verify that your device requires a 12V 9AH battery and accepts F1 .187 terminals before ordering. The case measures 5.94in long, 2.56in wide and 3.72in high and weighs 13.16lbs, so confirm the compartment can accommodate that footprint.

Sustained load behaviour

AGM construction absorbs electrolyte in glass-mat separators to deliver steady service life and recombines over 90% of gas generated during normal use. The sealed non-spillable design allows safe operation in any position without leakage from terminals or case.

Questions about this item

What comes with the PowerStar CP1290 12V 9AH battery and do I need to buy terminals separately?

The battery ships as a complete unit with F1 .187 terminals already fitted. No extra terminals or cables are required for standard installation.

How do I choose between the 9AH capacity and other versions of the CP1290?

The CP1290 is offered in this 9AH rating. Select it when your device specifies a 12V 9AH SLA battery with F1 terminals and the dimensions 5.94in x 2.56in x 3.72in.

What does the 9AH rating mean once the battery is installed in my UPS or backup device?

It delivers 9 ampere-hours at 12 volts, providing the runtime your equipment expects from a 9AH SLA pack. The AGM design maintains steady output and is maintenance-free for the 4-7 year expected life.
