Questions about this item

How do I install the PowerStar Rascal 370 Fold & G battery in my UPS, and what step do people often get wrong?

Connect the red lead to the positive terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal on each 12V 12AH block; the step people miss is tightening both terminal bolts to 100% so vibration cannot loosen them.

What maintenance or replacement will the PowerStar Rascal 370 Fold & G need later?

The sealed AGM design is maintenance-free; plan to replace the pair after the expected 4-7 year service life when runtime drops below the 12AH rating.

What limit appears first on the PowerStar Rascal 370 Fold & G under sustained discharge?

The 12AH capacity at 12V is the first limit; once the stored amp-hours are depleted the voltage falls and the UPS shuts down.
