  • Gas recombination design controls generation and recombines over 90% of gas during normal use
  • Maintenance-free operation eliminates specific-gravity checks and water additions throughout service life
  • 100% OEM replacement fits UPS and backup devices with three-year warranty on those applications

PS-1270 12V 7Ah SLA battery

The PS-1270 is a 12 volt 7 ampere-hour sealed lead acid battery built with absorptive glass mat technology. It serves as a direct OEM replacement for UPS units, alarm panels and backup power systems. The sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage and allows operation in any position. It is classified as non-spillable for safe transport.

AGM sealed lead acid limits

The absorptive glass mat design recombines over 90 percent of gas generated during normal use so no watering or specific gravity checks are required. The battery is maintenance free for its expected floating service life of four to seven years. Deep cycling beyond the design intent will reduce the achievable lifespan.

Upgrading from wet lead acid

This unit replaces vented lead acid batteries that need periodic topping up and upright mounting. The jump is worth it when a maintenance free, position free power source is required for standby or light cyclic duty. It is not suited for applications demanding high rate discharge or rapid recharge cycles.
