Compatible Radios

This push-to-talk speaker microphone replaces the original accessory for Motorola APX 4000, APX 6000, APX 7000, APX 6000XE and APX 7000XE P25 radios. It also fits XPR 6350, XPR 6550, XIR P8268, XIR P8200, DP 3400 and DGP 6150 models. The unit is built from high-quality ABS plastics and components for daily professional use.

Interface Limits

The microphone connects through the radio’s proprietary accessory port, so it only works with the listed Motorola and compatible series. No Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or universal connector is provided, limiting use to those specific handheld and mobile units. P25 digital operation is supported where the host radio enables it.

Deciding Specification

An 18-month warranty covers the accessory against defects in materials and workmanship. Buyers who need a longer manufacturer guarantee or a microphone certified for intrinsic safety should look elsewhere. The warranty period is the single figure that distinguishes this replacement from other aftermarket options.
