SKU CH-0RWC-DBY7P

A 12 Ah, 6 V sealed lead-acid battery with AGM technology and over 90 % gas recombination for maintenance-free UPS backup

  • Longer service life backed by 4-7 year design expectation
  • Spill-proof operation from sealed AGM construction
  • Fits Tripplite RBC52 units as 100% OEM replacement
  • Maintenance-free design needs no water or gravity checks
  • Over 90% gas recombination keeps internals stable

12 Ah 6 V UPS Replacement Battery

This sealed lead-acid battery delivers 12 amp-hours at 6 volts for UPS units that require the RBC52 form factor. It uses absorptive glass mat construction to keep electrolyte immobilised and prevent leakage in any mounting position.

Sustained float service life

The design targets an expected battery life of four to seven years in continuous float applications. Gas recombination handles over 90 percent of generated gas during normal operation, reducing water loss and supporting maintenance-free performance throughout that period.

Thermals noise and power draw

Sealed AGM construction produces no audible noise and requires no active cooling in typical indoor installations. The non-spillable classification permits safe operation in any orientation without electrolyte leakage or thermal runaway risk under normal load.

Questions about this item

Does the 12Ah 6V sealed lead-acid battery generate noticeable heat or noise during continuous UPS operation?

The sealed AGM construction is maintenance-free and produces no audible noise; any warmth during extended float charging stays within normal sealed-lead-acid limits.

What existing UPS hardware is required for the RBC52 to function as a drop-in replacement?

The battery fits Tripplite UPS models that specify the RBC52 part number and accept a 12Ah 6V brick; no additional cables or adapters are needed.

Will the RBC52 work reliably alongside older battery strings already installed in the same UPS?

Mixing a fresh 12Ah 6V unit with aged cells is not recommended because capacity mismatch can reduce overall runtime and stress the new battery.
