  • Expected service life of 4 to 7 years in float applications
  • 100 % OEM-compatible fit with 3-year warranty on UPS and backup devices

Direct Replacement for Casil CA1270

This 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery is built as a 100% OEM replacement for the Casil CA1270. It fits UPS units, alarm panels and backup-power systems that specify the CA1270 form factor. The AGM construction allows installation in any orientation without leakage.

12V 7Ah AGM Capacity

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 12V 7Ah rating in the standard CA1270 size. Advanced AGM technology uses absorptive glass mat separators to hold electrolyte, delivering steady service and a 4-7 year expected life. Gas recombination exceeds 90% during normal use.

Maintenance-Free, Non-Spillable Design

The sealed, non-spillable case meets IATA transport requirements and eliminates the need to check electrolyte levels or add water. No maintenance provisions exist, so the battery operates position-free for its entire service life. A three-year warranty covers UPS and backup applications.

Questions about this item

What does the 12 V rating mean when the battery is installed in my UPS?

The 12 V rating matches the original Casil CA1270 specification, so the UPS receives the exact voltage it expects for normal backup operation.

How do the F1/F2 terminals connect to the existing wiring?

The battery uses the same F1/F2 faston terminals as the CA1270, allowing a direct push-on connection without adapters or soldering.

What physical space does this replacement need in the battery compartment?

It follows the standard CA1270 footprint, so it fits the same compartment and mounting orientation as the original unit.
