Kenwood NX200 NX300 replacement battery

This 7.4 V 2600 mAh lithium-ion pack replaces the KNB-48L cell used in Kenwood Nexedge NX200 and NX300 two-way radios. It is built for professional and recreational users who need a direct-fit spare or replacement power source.

Drop-rated sustained output

The pack is tested to survive six drops from six feet onto all six faces without breakage or splintering while continuing to power the radio. That structural resilience helps maintain reliable voltage delivery during extended field use where rough handling is common.

Slide-on pack installation

The battery mates with the radio’s existing latch rails so no tools or soldering are required. The main fitting risk is debris in the rail grooves or a worn latch on older handsets, either of which can prevent a secure click.

Questions about this item

How does the 7.4V 2600mAh pack handle heat during continuous shift use?

The lithium-ion chemistry delivers steady voltage at 7.4 V and 2600 mAh without active cooling, so heat stays low during all-day transmit cycles.

What radio models must I already own for this KNB-48L battery to fit?

It fits Kenwood Nexedge NX200 and NX300 portables that accept the original KNB-48 or KNB-48Li packs.

Will the 7.4V 2600mAh capacity work with my older Kenwood charger base?

Yes — the pack uses the same 7.4 V chemistry as the original KNB-48, so existing Kenwood desktop chargers charge it normally.
