Sure-Lites 26117 6V 4.5AH Battery

The BatteryJack inc. Sure-Lites 26117 is a 6-volt 4.5AH sealed lead-acid battery designed as a 100% OEM replacement for emergency lighting units and backup devices. It uses advanced AGM technology with absorptive glass mat separators for maintenance-free operation in any position. The sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage and meets non-spillable classification standards for safe transport.

Capacity and runtime headroom

The 4.5AH rating at 6 volts delivers the specified capacity for compatible emergency light fixtures and backup systems. Expected battery life spans 4-7 years under normal floating service conditions with gas recombination controlling over 90% of generated gas. Runtime ends when the connected load depletes the stored capacity, requiring recharge or replacement to restore backup function.

Fit into a build

This battery fits directly into devices specified for the Sure-Lites 26117 form factor without modification. The sealed, non-spillable design allows installation in any orientation and requires no water checks or specific gravity monitoring throughout its service life. It frees the installer from scheduled maintenance tasks while providing a three-year warranty on UPS and backup devices or two years on other applications.
