Questions about this item

How do I install the EP9857 battery in my XTS1500 without damaging the contacts?

Align the battery rails with the radio guide slots, press firmly until the latch clicks, then verify the charge indicator lights; the most common error is inserting it upside-down, which bends the contact pins.

What maintenance will the EP9857 pack need after 18 months of daily use?

Plan to replace the pack once capacity drops below useful runtime; the 18-month warranty covers cells and casing, and the ISO9002 plant uses highest-grade cells rated for long cycle life.

Which limit appears first when the EP9857 powers an XTS2500 on continuous transmit?

The pack is drop-tested to 6 feet on six sides, so physical durability exceeds typical thermal or voltage sag limits during sustained high-draw operation.
