Speaker microphone for Kenwood two-way radios with a red LED light and rotating clip
The Titan CH-27-03 is a heavy-duty speaker microphone designed for Kenwood two-way radios. It connects to a wide range of TK, BF, TG, PX, KYD, LT and FDT handheld models. A red LED light and rotating clip add visibility and flexible mounting for professional users.
The microphone offers 2.2 Ohm impedance with 36 ± 2 dB sensitivity across 20 Hz to 1.6 kHz. The integrated speaker delivers 8 Ohm impedance, 82 ± 3 dB sensitivity and a 200 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. The unit is rated to survive six drops from six feet onto all sides without damage.
This accessory replaces a standard handset for operators needing hands-free communication and a visual status indicator. It supports numerous Kenwood models including the TK-260G, TK-270G, TK-272G and TK-360G series. Buyers requiring wireless connectivity or a different connector type should look elsewhere.

Align the speaker microphone's connector with the Kenwood two-pin port on the radio, push firmly until it seats, then slide the rotating clip onto your belt or strap and turn it to the preferred angle.
The coiled cord and its strain relief are the wear items; the microphone capsule is rated at 2.2 Ω impedance and 36 ± 2 dB sensitivity, while the speaker is rated at 8 Ω ± 15 % and 82 ± 3 dB, so cord fatigue typically appears before capsule or driver degradation.
The microphone frequency response stops at 1.6 kHz, so sustained voice transmission will lose higher speech frequencies before the speaker's 20 kHz upper limit or the 82 dB sensitivity become factors.
