  • 12 V 7 Ah sealed lead-acid battery for reliable backup power
  • AGM glass-mat design prevents electrolyte leakage in any orientation
  • Over 90 % of generated gas recombines internally for maintenance-free life
  • Direct 100 % OEM replacement for APC RBC17 and LS700 units
  • Expected service life of four to seven years in float applications

12V 7AH SLA battery for UPS and backup

This 12 volt 7 amp hour sealed lead acid battery uses AGM technology to deliver maintenance free operation. It serves as a direct replacement for APC RBC17 and LS700 units in uninterruptible power supplies and backup devices. The sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage and allows safe use in any position.

Gas recombination limits service conditions

Over ninety percent of gas generated during normal use is recombined inside the case, so no watering or specific gravity checks are required. The design meets non spillable classification for air transport, but the chemistry is not suited for deep cycle applications or high rate discharge beyond the rated capacity.

7AH capacity defines runtime fit

The 7 amp hour rating determines how long connected equipment can run during a power outage, making it the single figure to match against your UPS load calculation. If your system demands a higher amp hour rating this unit will not provide sufficient backup time.

Questions about this item

Is the 12V 7AH rating the right choice for my APC RBC17 or LS700 UPS?

Yes, the UB1270 is a 100% OEM replacement rated at 12V 7AH, matching the specifications for APC RBC17 and LS700 units.

What does the 7AH capacity mean for actual UPS runtime?

The 7 amp-hour rating indicates the energy stored; runtime depends on your UPS load, but the AGM design delivers steady service for the expected 4-7 year floating life.

Does the sealed AGM construction meet IATA non-spillable standards for shipping?

Yes, the sealed AGM construction is classified as non-spillable and meets all International Air Transport Association requirements for safe transport.
