Product Identity

This BatteryJack inc. UB1270FR is a 12 Volt 7 Ah sealed lead-acid battery built with AGM technology. It serves as a direct OEM replacement for uninterruptible power supplies, alarm panels, emergency lighting and similar backup systems. The maintenance-free design requires no watering or electrolyte checks during its service life.

Deciding Specification

The absorptive glass mat construction recombines over 90 percent of generated gas and prevents electrolyte leakage in any mounting position. This sealed, non-spillable design meets International Air Transport Association requirements for safe transport. A floating service life of 4 to 7 years is expected under normal standby conditions.

Questions about this item

What does the 7 Ah capacity mean for actual runtime in a UPS?

The 7 Ah rating indicates the total charge available; a typical UPS will draw a few amps so the battery can provide several tens of minutes of backup before needing a recharge.

Which terminals does the UB1270FR use and what voltage does it deliver?

It supplies 12 volts through standard F2 faston tabs that plug directly into most UPS and alarm-panel battery compartments.

What are the physical dimensions and mounting orientation for the UB1270FR?

The sealed AGM case is designed to operate in any position and fits the standard UB1270FR footprint used by many UPS models.
