Compatible Trimmer Battery

The UT1280 is a 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery built with advanced AGM technology for maintenance-free operation. It serves as a 100% OEM replacement for Troy-Bilt TB55B trimmers using part numbers 41AET55G063 and 41AET55G711.

Check Your Trimmer Model

Verify that your Troy-Bilt trimmer specifies the TB55B designation and matches either OEM part number 41AET55G063 or 41AET55G711 before ordering. Confirm the unit requires a 12V 7Ah SLA battery with the same physical dimensions and terminal layout as the original.

Upgrade From Worn SLA Cells

This battery replaces ageing or failed sealed lead-acid cells that no longer hold a charge or deliver sufficient starting current. The jump is worth it when your trimmer struggles to start, runs for a shorter time or shows voltage sag under load.

Questions about this item

Does the UT1280 battery arrive ready to install in my Troy-Bilt TB55B trimmer, or do I need to buy cables or acid separately?

The sealed AGM unit ships fully charged and maintenance-free, so no acid, cables or extra hardware are required for installation.

The listing shows two OEM numbers — 41AET55G063 and 41AET55G711 — which one should I match to my trimmer?

Both part numbers reference the same 12 V 7 Ah UT1280 pack; either code on your original battery confirms the correct replacement.

What does the 7 Ah rating actually deliver when the battery is powering my trimmer motor?

It indicates the pack can supply roughly seven amps for one hour or proportionally less current for longer run time before recharge is needed.
