Direct UPS replacement

The BatteryJack Vision CP1290 is a 12V 7.5Ah sealed lead-acid unit built with absorbed glass mat technology. It arrives maintenance-free and ready to install in compatible UPS systems and backup devices. The pack contains two batteries for dual-slot or spare-unit configurations.

F1 terminal constraint

Each battery uses an F1 .187 faston terminal, so it only fits equipment designed for that blade width. Polarity and physical dimensions must match the original battery compartment exactly. The AGM chemistry prevents acid leakage but does not change the voltage or capacity envelope of the host device.

Upgrades 7.0Ah units

This 7.5Ah pack replaces common 7.0Ah or 7Ah original batteries in listed APC Back-UPS and Pro models. The higher amp-hour rating extends runtime on the same chassis without modifying wiring. It is not suited for systems requiring larger capacities or different terminal types.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 7.5 Ah or the 7.0 Ah version for my UPS?

The 7.5 Ah pack supplies slightly more capacity than the 7.0 Ah alternative, giving a longer run-time on the same load.

What does the 12 V 7.5 Ah rating mean once the battery is installed in my UPS?

It delivers 12 volts and can sustain a 7.5 amp draw for one hour, so a 250 W load will run for roughly 20 minutes before recharge is needed.

The terminals are listed as F1 .187 — what connector standard is that and what current does it handle?

F1 .187 denotes a standard 0.187 inch faston tab; it is rated for the full 7.5 Ah discharge current of this pack.
