90° USB4 Extension Cable

The BAWIOFIAU USB4 40Gbps extension cable adds 2FT of reach with a 90° right-angle male-to-female connector. Its L-shaped design reduces strain on device ports during charging or data transfer. The nylon-braided jacket and aluminium shell protect a high-purity copper core rated for 20,000 bends.

Users needing port protection and 8K video

Suits laptop owners who frequently dock or charge at a desk and want to avoid port wear. The cable supports 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 144Hz and 4K at 120Hz for high-refresh displays. Buyers requiring longer runs or straight connectors should consider other options.

40Gbps data and 240W power headroom

Delivers full USB4 40Gbps throughput when both host and device support the speed. Handles up to 240W charging for power-hungry laptops. Actual data rates fall back to the lowest common capability of the connected hardware.

Questions about this item

Will this 90° right-angle extension cable work with my Thunderbolt 4 host and device?

Yes, the cable is compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and USB4, maintaining 40Gbps data transfer, 8K@60Hz video, and 240W charging when both host and device support those specifications.

Can I keep using my existing Thunderbolt 3 dock through this 2FT extension?

The cable is compatible with Thunderbolt 3, so your dock will function, but the link will operate at Thunderbolt 3 speeds rather than the 40Gbps maximum this cable supports.

How do I confirm the 40Gbps link is active after connecting the cable?

Check your operating system's connection details or the device's status utility; they should report a 40Gbps USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 link, and 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz video should be available without compression artifacts.
