What the Alard TV Stand Is

The Baxton Studio Alard is a mid-century modern TV stand finished in walnut brown. It suits living rooms that want a retro-inspired centrepiece for a television and media devices.

What the Storage Layout Changes

Two open shelves hold a DVD player or game console within easy reach. Two concealed shelves behind doors keep extra media or accessories out of sight. A cord management hole on the top shelf routes cables neatly.

Limits of the Design and Assembly

The unit is built from rubberwood and engineered wood, not solid hardwood throughout. Round plastic knobs and angled tapered legs define the vintage look. Assembly is required before use.

Questions about this item

Will the round plastic door knobs need replacing over time?

The knobs are standard round plastic hardware; they can be unscrewed and swapped for any knob with the same bolt spacing if they ever loosen or break.

What is the first limit reached when the top shelf holds a heavy console all day?

The top shelf is a single engineered-wood panel with a cord-management cut-out, so its load capacity is the practical limit before sag appears.

Does the rubberwood and engineered wood construction creak or warm up after hours of use?

Wood furniture does not generate heat; occasional creaking may occur as joints settle with humidity changes, but no active cooling or noise is produced.
