Mid-Century Queen Bed Frame

The Baxton Studio Rina is a queen-size bed frame built from solid rubberwood with an MDF ash veneer and LVL components. It carries an ash walnut finish and tapered legs that echo mid-century modern design. The platform slats remove the need for a separate box spring. Assembly is required before use.

Buyers Seeking Warm Vintage Style

This frame suits anyone wanting a low-profile centrepiece with a classic walnut tone that pairs easily with light bedding. It is not for shoppers who need integrated storage drawers or a fully upholstered headboard. Buyers who prefer a taller profile or a metal-rail foundation should look elsewhere.

Solid Wood Platform Under Daily Use

The rubberwood structure and LVL slats distribute weight evenly across the frame without a box spring. The finish resists everyday scuffs while the tapered legs remain stable on level floors. Long-term durability depends on correct assembly and periodic tightening of hardware.

Questions about this item

Does the queen-size frame accept a standard queen mattress without a box spring?

Yes, the built-in wooden slats support a queen mattress directly, so no box spring is needed.

Will the ash walnut finish and tapered legs match existing mid-century nightstands or dressers?

The warm walnut-brown tone and tapered leg profile follow classic mid-century proportions, making it easy to coordinate with similar-era pieces.

How can I confirm the slats are correctly spaced after assembly?

Measure the gap between adjacent slats; they should be evenly spaced and each slat should sit firmly in its pre-drilled bracket without wobble.
