Assembled Baseboard Enclosure 48 In

The Beacon Morris TP14-04 is a steel baseboard heater cabinet measuring 48 inches in length, 14 inches in height and 5 5/16 inches in depth. It is designed for surface mounting in residential or commercial hydronic heating installations. The beige finish suits standard interior decor while the single-row element configuration fits typical baseboard layouts. This unit serves contractors and facility managers needing a complete, ready-to-install enclosure.

Front Panel Backplate Hangers Brackets Cradles

The package includes a front panel, partial backplate, top panel, two adjustable hangers with hardware, two brackets and two slide cradles. These components allow the enclosure to be assembled and secured to the wall without sourcing separate mounting parts. The adjustable hangers accommodate minor variations in element positioning while the slide cradles support the heating element within the cabinet. The partial backplate provides a clean rear closure where full coverage is not required.

Compatible STC14354-04 ST1444-04 Grainger 5E302

This enclosure is confirmed compatible with heater models STC14354-04 and ST1444-04 and cross-references Grainger part numbers 5E302 and 5E306. It will not fit baseboard units outside these specifications or multi-row element configurations. Installers must verify the existing heater model matches the listed compatibilities before purchase. The surface-mount design limits use in recessed or flush-mount applications.

Questions about this item

Does the 48 in steel enclosure need any periodic finish maintenance?

The beige factory coating is baked on; no refinishing is required unless the surface is scratched or dented.

What limits continuous heat output in the 14 in high cabinet?

The single-row element capacity and 5 5/16 in depth restrict the maximum wattage the enclosure can safely house.

How much noise or vibration comes from the adjustable hangers after all-day operation?

The hangers are rigid steel brackets; they transmit no fan or motor noise because the enclosure contains no moving parts.
