High-gain antenna kit with 11 ft cable

This package provides a 7 dBi blade antenna, a magnetic docking base, and an integrated 11 foot LMR-200 shielded coaxial cable. The RP-SMA connectors allow direct attachment to compatible Wi-Fi adapters or routers. It is designed to improve signal reception by enabling higher antenna placement.

Suits users with RP-SMA equipment needing flexible

Buyers who own a BearExtender PC USB adapter or another device with an RP-SMA antenna port can relocate the antenna up to 11 feet away for better line-of-sight. Those without a compatible receiver must purchase one separately, as this kit contains only the antenna and base assembly.

7 dBi gain with RP-SMA connector

The antenna delivers 7 dBi gain through a detachable blade element that screws onto the magnetic base via an RP-SMA interface. This single specification determines compatibility with the target device and the achievable signal improvement over a standard stock antenna.

Questions about this item

Which gain version of the BearExtender MB01 should I choose?

The MB01 is supplied with a 7 dBi blade-style omni-directional antenna that is detachable from the magnetic base.

What does the 7 dBi gain mean once the antenna is installed in a real setup?

The 7 dBi blade antenna focuses signal horizontally, so mounting it higher on the magnetic base and up to 11 feet away from the radio typically yields a stronger link than the stock antenna at the device.

What interface does the cable use and what does that limit in practice?

The integrated 11-foot LMR-200 cable ends in an RP-SMA plug, so it only fits devices that have an RP-SMA antenna port such as the BearExtender PC USB adapter or compatible routers.
