Product Identity
The BEAU JARDIN doormat12 Dirt Trapper in Brown measures 36 by 24 inches and is built for high-traffic entryways where mud, water and pet paws are a daily concern. Its machine-made construction and low-profile design keep doors swinging freely while the latex backing grips hard floors without shifting.
What the Features Change
The absorbent surface traps moisture, grit and mud from shoes or paws on contact so less dirt reaches interior flooring. A non-slip latex base prevents the mat from sliding on tile or timber, reducing trip hazards for children and older residents. Machine-washable care lets you reset the mat with cold water on a gentle cycle, though fibres may shed during the first few washes.
Deciding Specification
The mat weighs 1.27 kilograms and stands roughly 62.23 centimetres long by 10.922 centimetres wide by 10.795 centimetres high in its packaged state, a low profile that clears most interior door swings. Buyers needing a heavier scraper mat or a larger coverage area for double-door entries should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
How often should I machine-wash the mat to keep it trapping dirt?
Machine wash in cold water on a low agitation cycle without fabric softener; some shedding of fibres may occur in the first washes, so vacuum before first use.
Will the 1.27 kg weight and 6 mm low profile stop the mat from shifting on hard floors?
The latex backing is designed to grip without slipping or scuffing, and the low profile keeps doors from catching.
Does the latex backing or the fibres get hot or smelly after a full day of wet boots and paws?
The mat is machine washable and can be hosed off, so moisture and odour are removed by regular cleaning.
