Beck C.H. 3/4" Steel Pipe Nipple

The Beck C.H. 0330020801 is a welded Grade B steel pipe nipple with 3/4 inch nominal size and NPT threads on both ends. Its black anodized finish resists corrosion while the 13/16 inch inside diameter maintains flow for air, gases, non-potable water and oils. Rated for 300 psi at 150 degrees F and 150 psi steam at 360 degrees F, it suits industrial and commercial piping systems. Made in the USA, it arrives new and ready for installation.

Replaces worn or corroded threaded nipples

This nipple upgrades from damaged steel fittings that leak at the threads or show internal rust restricting flow. The jump is worth it when system pressure approaches 300 psi or steam service reaches 150 psi, where weaker fittings fail. It is not for potable water lines or applications requiring certified lead-free materials. Builders needing a different length, diameter or material grade should select another fitting.

Threads into standard NPT fittings with pipe sealant

Installation requires clean male threads, appropriate thread sealant or tape, and a pipe wrench for final tightening. The welded construction eliminates internal seam leaks common in lower-grade nipples. What usually goes wrong is cross-threading during start-up or over-tightening that cracks the female fitting. Ensure the mating port is also NPT and rated for the system pressure before assembly.
