Classic Chiming Wall Clock

The Bedford Clock Collection BED-1912PC17 is a 27.5-inch wall clock designed for traditional interiors. It features a swinging pendulum and an audible chime mechanism. The clock suits living rooms, hallways or offices that value classic styling. It arrives new and ready to hang.

Chiming Mechanism and Pendulum

The built-in chime marks each hour with a traditional tone that defines the room's rhythm. A swinging pendulum adds continuous visual motion without requiring separate installation. These two features replace silent quartz operation with audible and kinetic presence. No additional software or accessories are included in the package.

Wood Case and Wall Mounting

The clock body uses a wood construction that supports the 27.5-inch height and internal movement. A rear keyhole hanger accepts a single wall screw or hook for flush mounting. Battery-powered quartz drive keeps the movement running without mains wiring. The pendulum swings freely once the unit is levelled on the wall.

Questions about this item

How often does the BED-1912PC17 pendulum mechanism need winding or battery replacement?

The clock uses a quartz chiming movement that runs on standard batteries; typical life is about one year before a fresh set is needed.

What stops the chime from running continuously on the 27.5" model?

An automatic night-silence sensor disables the Westminster chime between 10 pm and 7 am so the mechanism does not run all day.

Does the 27.5" case get warm or make a ticking sound after hours of operation?

The quartz motor produces a soft tick and stays at room temperature; no measurable heat builds up in the wooden case.
