Design and finish
This wall clock presents a weathered cherry finish on a flat-topped case with decorative columns and carved moldings. A circular antique polished dial displays black Roman numerals and matching hands. An antique polished brass inspired pendulum with grid detail hangs below the dial. The piece measures 4.15 inches deep by 11.50 inches wide by 25.25 inches high.
Suitable settings and limits
The clock suits living rooms, hallways or offices where a traditional chiming wall clock is desired. Four selectable chime modes and a volume control toggle let you adjust the audible presence. Buyers who need a silent timepiece or a battery powered quartz movement without a pendulum should consider a different style.
Power and chiming specification
A melodic hourly chime sounds on the hour with four distinct mode options. The volume control toggle allows the chime level to be lowered or silenced. This mechanical chiming feature is the defining function that separates this model from non-chiming decorative clocks.

Questions about this item
Does the BED1247CHR arrive fully assembled or do I need to supply batteries and mounting hardware?
The clock ships assembled. You must provide batteries for the quartz movement and chime, plus your own wall fixings suited to the 11.50 lb weight.
How do the four chime modes differ and which suits a quiet bedroom?
Four selectable modes range from full Westminster melody to a simple hour strike; the volume toggle lets you silence or lower the chime for night use.
Will the 25.25 inch height and 4.15 inch depth clear a standard 8 ft ceiling and 12 inch deep shelf?
At 25.25 in tall and 4.15 in deep the case fits comfortably below an 8 ft ceiling and projects only slightly beyond a 12 in shelf.
