Outdoor Compression Connector

The Belden EX6XL Plus is a 21mm stroke compression connector built for Series 6 drop cables. It fits standard, tri-shield and quad-shield variants in a single design. The UV-stabilised polymer body resists sunlight and chemical exposure. Supplied as a pack of 100 connectors for professional installers.

Universal Fit for Series 6 Installers

Installers running RG-6 for cable TV, satellite or broadband drop lines will appreciate the redundant moisture seals and the wide dynamic range that reduces mismatched cable errors. The connector carries Comcast, DirecTV and Dish Network approvals. Builders working with other cable series or non-coaxial media will need different connectors because the compression geometry is specific to Series 6 dimensions.

21mm Stroke Compression Length

The defining specification is the 21mm stroke length, which determines whether the connector can fully compress onto the specific Series 6 cable jacket and dielectric stack in use. Verify that the cable construction matches this stroke before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the UV-stabilised polymer body need periodic replacement in outdoor runs?

The engineered polymer body is UV stabilised and chemical resistant, so it does not require scheduled replacement under normal outdoor exposure.

What is the first limit reached during sustained compression cycles?

Each connector is rated for a single 21 mm stroke compression; the pack supplies 100 connectors for repeated installations.

Does the connector generate heat or noise when left in place all day?

As a passive compression connector it produces no heat and no audible noise during continuous operation.
