The BELDEN GBS81R grounds incoming F-pin coaxial cables at the building entry point. It connects TV, VCR, cable box, cable modem or off-air antenna feeds to a grounding conductor. The block helps prevent static electricity buildup and provides a path for lightning-induced surges. It is supplied new with two mounting screws.

2.5 GHz Bandwidth Limit

The grounding block is rated to pass signals up to 2.5 GHz. This covers typical cable TV, satellite IF and broadband modem frequencies. Signals above this range will be attenuated and the block should not be used for wider-band applications. No other frequency or loss figures are provided by the manufacturer.

Single F-Pin Port Pair Configuration

Each end of the block accepts one standard male F-pin connector, giving a single through path for one coaxial line. Installations that require grounding for multiple cables need additional blocks.
